Lookout London - Olympic Team takes shape

Following the Swim Team announcement Deputy Chef de Mission Chris Fydler opens this edition. The Swim and Canoe/Kayak- Slalom Teams are introduced and there are features on rhythmic gymnast Janine Murray, cycling siblings Alex and Annette Edmondson on the brink of creating history and a column by ALO John Eales. The newest BK Training game is also revealed.

In January the inaugural Australian Winter Youth Olympic Team competes in Innsbruck, Austria and in July the Aussies take on London! The first London 2012 athletes have just been selected- what a great Christmas present for them! This month there are features on high school graduate and slalom star Jess Fox and BMX rider Melinda McLeod.

What a month. Sally Pearson, Sam Stosur and 10 medals at the Rowing World Champs. The basketball teams wiped the Kiwis but the heartbreak for the Matildas missing out on qualifying for London. Trampolinist Blake Gaudry, archer Alice Ingley, fencer Evelyn Halls and synchronised swimmer Eloise Amberger.
