Test Events
Athletes and spectators alike will get a taste of the Olympics before the Games even start with a series of test events taking place at some of the unique London 2012 venues. Known in London as the London Prepares series, over 30 Olympic events will be completed.
With such high level sport as a triathlon world championship, BMX World Cup and International sailing regatta on the menu, people will get to see the world’s top athletes trying out the courses before the real deal in 2012. For the athletes it’s a valuable opportunity to learn the lay of the land and get a feel for what is install for them at the Games.
